10 Wins 2006 Just because we are building for the future, it does'nt mean we should chalk up this season. I think if we make the right moves on the O-line, Chad (if healthy) could do fine if he isn't, then Ramsey is more than capable of making all the throws needed on the field. Martin is still capable of getting yards and our recievers are as good as they were last year, If the line comes together and if we add the skills of a V. Davis type player our offence should be capable of winning alot of games (Super Bowl, I don't think so but i hope we win at least 9 or 10 games)
Ive been saying this for a while_ The Jets WILL win the superbowl this year. (i have been saying that for quite a few years now though)
I still think that we have a chance to win this season with the core of talent we have and adding through FA and the draft there are alot of good players still available. remember Football is a team sport. all the peices have to work together
The jets defense will surprise many people and will keep them in many a game. 9 wins will not be surprising,
I love the enthusiasm and I actually used to be the same way. Every year, I truly believed that it was our year and when my friends asked me how I thought the Jets were gonna do, I always said, Superbowl! However, after the heart break that was last season, I've come to be a lot more realistic. I think that six wins for next year is a reasonable, optimistic prediction.
Remember, the Jets almost made the AFC championship game 2 years ago. The Jets still have al ot of those players still on the team. Believe it or not, the Jets are not that far off. Sure up the line and get a play maker or 2 and we have a play off contender:up: . Now it seems we have a lot of drama queens and a lot of poor me Jet fans. Seems there more interested in waiting for the next Jet failure, so they go and whine about how rough it is to be a Jet fan. Well heres a little advice, go be a Lions fan so you can wear the opposing teams colors.
Here is the realest answer you will get in this whole thread: No one here knows. None of us can predict the future and the NFL is a funny game. In this salary cap era, the beauty of the game is that fortunes change overnight. So, 16-0, 0-16, 8-8, 9-7, 7-9, we just don't have a clue.
To many holes and ???? to expect a winning record this year. I believe Ramsey will end up being our starter at qb this year, just not sure at what point. The draft will answer so many questions about how the team will look. Jets could end up with as many as 6 day 1 picks
