Rex must have given his bullshit speech at 8AM as to how we should probably be behind Mark Sanchez when he goes out there as the starter.

But we all know deep down inside that there are ramifications for doing this.

Locker room will be divided...Jaguars are so bad that I dont expect it to matter, but who knows. The Cards offense played as bad as any unit ever.

So...now that the other players have heard the news, how do they react on gameday?
Will they step up their play for Sanchez?

Poe, it isn't the Team, Sanchez needs to step up on his own, zero tolerance on stupid mistakes.

I know, but we all saw how the rest of the offense heightened their awareness and even the blockers started to block for G-Mac.

Sanchez may get off to a poor start again with his throws, will it make a difference to rest of the guys?

You are missing an item to choose...it's called:

I'm a professional athlete, who gets paid to play football, and if I shit the bed other teams will see that on tape. I'll play my best for whomever is behind center.

Remember the Hill catch when Gregg was in? Definite drop if Sanchez threw it :breakdance:

there's been nothing to me that suggests the guys in the lockerroom don't believe or support sanchez. from their thrashing of tebow to rex's continued trust in sanchez i'm guessing mark is really impressing guys in practice with his work ethic, dedication, and leadership. that may not translate to the field week in and week out but guys respect the process. and given time process will reveal itself in wins and losses

well there were reports of him being called lazy and pampered and the team seamed elevated by the introduction of McElroy last week, then again i have no proof whatsoever. One thing is clear though a QB cannot succeed in a vacuum without the suppport of his teammates.

There is also no evidence to show they do believe in him. There was certainly better energy when he was pulled. Look, I'm nit a sanchez hater I'm complety indifferent to him. I have written more than my share of excuses posts for sanchez over the past 2 years, but at this point I can't say it doesn't look like I was anything but comolety wrong. Even if the talant around him "sucks" he should still be much further along at this point, and be making guys around him better. The team looked better with mcelroy at qb. I don't think he's good eithor. But I think sanchez confidence is destoryed and he been beyond awful this year. I have no understanding why they would play him another down this season.

Before the Cards game, support for Sanchez meant they wanted Sanchez over Tebow.

Now that there's another and better option, I think we'll hear less support for Sanchez.

The TEAM is always up. How many times has the defense played lights out for us but Mark and the O couldn't get anything done? It's whether or not Mark wants to stop making the same routine/costly mistakes over and over. He needs to STEP up.

Time for MARK to step up. COMMAND this offense to do better. It is NOW or never. I don't know WHY I keep capitalizing some WORDS.

Except the Jets unit in the first 3 quarters.

The Jets players see the same shit we see every week. A QB who is not doing his part to win games... not only that, he's doing all he can to lose games.

You think a pick on the very first play of the game inspires anyone to play better? Especially after this season and last season of much the same.

No matter what the team may say publicly, if they stepped up their game for Greg, it's because they have had enough of Mark Turnover and wanted new leadership. If the didn't step up their game, it shows just how bad Mark really is, a 3rd sting 6th round QB took him to school.

I think we'll see the same thing this week, Mark will struggle against a bad team, but he may get within field goal range enough times to take the lead. If Folk hadn't had missed two FG's last week, I don't think they would have pulled Mark, as pathetic as he was.

    Step up what?

The OL gives Nacho good 5 seconds on the first play - so he does what, throw a fucking pick? And now are you asking the team to step it up? Like HOW? Fuck yeah another INT?

    Fixed it for you.
