The team won't have a magical turn around next season but I think they'll be a watchable team unlike the joke they were this season.

Too early to tell. A solid off-season and we can be fighting to be a .500 team, or be in the same 4-12 boat. Just can't tell right now.

Well, considering last year we won 4 games, I honestly do think we can come back "better" this year. We can easily win 6-8 games. Also, I believe we are playing the NFC North this year. No matter what happens the rest of the way out, we're still better than those guys.

How can you say that? Jay Fiedler is a one man team! We will be at least 12-4 and XLI bound!

He said we will be able to MAKE A RUN...he meant either at the playoffs or the SB and neither of which we will be a part of next year.

We AREN'T rebuilding! Had the 05 jets been healthy, they would've been atleast 10-6, and that is with a horrible coaching staff and a weak-armed QB and an old RB. Even with all the injuries and a shit coaching staff, we could've easily one some of those games with better game planning (chargers, saints, jags, ravens), thats 8-8 right there with just a better coaching staff, throw in some off-season moves to patch up the rest, and we are golden for 06. Now look at us, if we stay healthy in 06 we will be fine. All we need to do is use the off-season to fix up the o-line, draft a young RB, and either grab a QB out of FA or use what we already have. We are already fine defensively, and that's the key. You cannot honestly tell me that we will not be competitive next year! We have patched up the coaching staff already. Now we just need to make some off-season moves and we will be ready to make our run in 06. Stop listening to the damn media and realize that this team is not a bad team! We are ready to compete and we will be contenders in 06!

I agree, we will be big competitors...for the #1 pick though

Honestly though, with all the cuts we're making, we have to see how well replace em, before we pass judgement

While I don't see us winning more than 8 games next season, with the last place schedule, we shouldn't do too bad. We have to look 3 to 5 years down the road to understand what this administration is trying to do. We also have to accept that this coach will be VERY closed mouthed about what is going on. That comes directly from the BB-Parcells handbook. Gone are the days of extended press conferences, catchy sound bites, and tons of information. This coach is not going to give anybody (fans or opposing coaches) any information that can help somebody to defeat us. It will be real interesting to see some of the speculation that will arise from my fellow Gang Greeners once the season gets started.

We'll be in the Brady Quinn sweepstakes for 2007 after going 5-11. Mangini blowing up the team will be a big step back. However some times you need to take one step back to take two forward.
