I care enough to post in the thread, but I actually don't care. Let him get a big old chip on his shoulder. That will benefit the team more than a silly luau...
He might not make that either. The first team choices are almost certainly going to be Quinn and Watt. Hardy was the 3rd best this season in my opinion. Wilkerson or Jordan might nab the other 2nd team spot. There is also the possibility of a tie in the vote which could put three ends on the 2nd team.
i just dont get how not one of those guys made it i mean come on, folk has only missed like what? 2 kicks all year if that?
Who gives a shit about the pro bowl who actually wastes there time watching that garbage anyway, Cro made the pro bowl last season ....how's he doing this year?I wouldn't watch it even if he was in it
The Pro Bowl is such a joke. Its a popularity contest. Wilkerson might have been the best defensive lineman in the league this year, but fans don't watch all the games. They vote for their teams' players and the known names. Its the Jets fan's responsibility to vote for their own guy. I personally don't care if he places high in a popularity contest. It gives him even more of a chip on his shoulder and it is better for the team in contract negotiations. Besides, the less notoriety he gets the better. Better for Wilkerson to fly under the radar than be known as the best in the league, which I know that he is. The stats prove it as well.
Its not the All-Pro voting. Its the fans that are voting on this. They see Tucker make a 61 yard FG, which a number of NFL kickers could make and they instantly think he is the best in the league. Thats how it works.
I'm really going to laugh in the face of the moronic fans that actually vote for this popularity contest if Mo Wilk makes the All-Pro team. If the NFL wants this event to have any credibility, it shouldn't be voted on by the fans who vote for who has the highest ratings on Madden 25.
