Vilma, moss, d, brick, d-rob All first rounders who either split or arent playing to well. The draft is for young guys of the future to stick around and build a team with. They depart within 3-4 years or they are a bust. This is why like to get guys from the market who are already proven.

Bad drafting by Bradway in the 1st round can't just throw away the draft completely.

Vilma- pro bowl 4-3 MLB.. CANNOT PLAY 3-4
Moss- Talented in WAS, had no arm to throw to him here.
DRob- ok, he doesn't play up to #4 overall standards, but we all agree that trading up for him when we did was a bad move.
Brick- next year is judgement year. Rookie season was par, followed by the same last season, although last season he had Clarke next to him which is unfair. Jury is out until end of 08...

But the draft has given us Rhodes, Harris, Revis, Mangold, Leon, Coles, Cotchery, Baker, and Ellis.

Yea, draft doesn't help at all.

How 'bout Jabe and Keyshawn while we're at it? We might as well TRADE our 6th overall to a team like the Cowboys for a player of our liking. I can't remember a 1st round pick that we've ever taken that has A-worked out, and B-stayed on our team throughout his prime.

My definition recently for not counting on the draft is Schlegel. The epitome would be Blair Thomas and possibly Johnny Lam Jones.
