The more I think about it, they don't have an underrated guy.

Cotchery? Not to sound like too much of a dark sider, but other than looking good in training camp what exactly has this guy done?

When he was actually given a chance he got open and caught passes moving the chains. Takes a hit but hangs on to the ball. Yes, he hasn't played much but that's because Herm would rather play with injured vets than fresh rookies.

There's only one guy on here who calls him that regularly, but that poster is disturbed, so who cares.

I gotta agree. Barton gets a bad rap because of late hit on Brees (which WAS a boneheaded move), but he was missed terribly last year.

You hit the nail on the head. He was our leader on defense in 2004, and his presence will felt again this season.

I hope so. I really think that the Cover 2 took away from his game last season. Hopefully Mangini can turn him into a shutdown corner.

There is really no such thing anymore because of the Ty Law Rule. The league has taken away cornerbacks' ability to play. It all comes down to the pass rush these days. If the rush isn't good, the cornerbacks have major problems.

I'll throw another one out there: Doug Jolley.

Many people are still bitter about his trade, and he gets alot of hate from most fans. I think he can be a valuable pass catching threat if used correctly under the right system.
