My first year doing fantasy football, and I have a pretty crappy team. The league I"m playing in allows 2 starting QBs. These are my choices: Losman (Bills) vs Chicago Plummer (Denver) vs Baltimore Roethlisberger (Pitt) vs San Diego A Smith (San Fran) vs Oakland My gut tells me to start Smith and Plummer. I am thinking that the Bears D is too good for Losman to do well, and Big Ben has sucked wind all year. Smith should do well against a crappy Raiders team though. Anyone have thoughts about this? Thanks!
Interesting... I imagine I could give Ben another week. Hopefully he can snap out of the funk. At the rate he's going I see Charlie Batch making a return to the lineup. lol
Hmm, I have Vick (Bye) and McCown (not going to play). My waiver wire options were Charlie Whitehurst (may get to run the ball), David Garrard or Tim Rattay. As a result I'm starting Rattay this week in the hope Gradkowski stinks early on and gets pulled late for Rattay to notch a meaningless couple of touchdowns in a blowout loss against a loose defense.
Jeeez, and I thought I had it bad. Sorry to hear it. Rattay might see some play at some point. It may be a good guess, but it probably won't net much.
Who would you start for my team (pick 2): Daunte Culpepper @ New England Drew Bledsoe @ Philadelphia Philip Rivers vs. Pittsburgh Rex Grossman vs. Buffalo I'm leaning towards Grossman and Bledsoe and stearing away from Culpepper at New England but should I give Rivers a shot, he has been pretty efficient thus far. If so, who gets the pine?
I would have to take Grossman against the Bills. Rivers or Bledsoe though, I think I would go with Bledsoe.
