    I felt like getting some vbookie action on the election and since all the talk is here I'll move it to the virtual vegas forum later.

    hey, we're getting cheated on the lines! :grin:

    I heard most books have Obama at over -1000.

    McCain is an extreme longshot, but since I can't vote on Obama under in the popular vote, I think I'll just pick McCain.

    I've seen lines all over the place so I settled with this one since it was a bit late that I posted this, and I saw nothing about the popular vote so I didn't bothered to do anything like that even the over 300 votes were lines I made up

    I just put the remaining 700 I had left on Obama...2000 total vCash bet.

    I put 100 on a tie, 100 on Obama winning, 50 on Obama winning with >300, 50 on McCain and 25 on McCain >300 or something like that.

    Had I only been allowed to pick one, I'd have bet the ranch on Obama even though I voted Repub.

    Hmm this may be how I do the Jets bets from now on, we haven't had vbookie action like this since the Superbowl

    Yeah man that'd be smart. Always post the spreads too.

    EDIT - Also recommend allowing people to bet on 1st and 2nd half.

    The vig is killer, man. Don't bet both sides. -1200 as opposed to +650

    Great. Don't be afraid to throw in the odd fun bet at long odds too. Like whether there will be a safety scored, or tied game etc.
