Threads like this are so meaningless, but so much fun.

I honestly think Penny will have a good game Sunday. The Titans don't have a very good secondary let alone a good defense. I think Coles will catch a TD from Penny fairly early in the game.

    Do it Penny!

Brad Smith will score our first TD once Mangini realizes that he is the only real playmaking threat on offense and puts him in. When will he realize this? If Herm was still here I would definately say Week 15 but w/ Mangini I don't know.

    If Herm were still here:

    1) Martin would be starting in a motorized wheelchair after signing a 5 year extension.
    2) Jason Fabini would still be on the team.
    3) Adrian Jones would be starting.
    4) Vinnie Testaverde would be your #2 backup, along with "Brooksie" at #3.
    5) You can forget about even getting a look at Clemens in preseason, much less Brad Smith at QB.
    5) We wouldn't have traded for Barlow (no need... we have Martin).
    6) Jolley and Mickens would still be on the team.
    7) Brad Smith would have had approximately 12 minutes of preseason playing time as a WR only, and that's if he had ever been drafted in the first place.
    8) We would have made a serious push to sign Ty Law to a long term contract.
    9) Training Camp would have been held at one of the Sandals resorts in the Carribean.

Hey, come to think of it, this would make a pretty funny thread. Somebody needs to start a "If Herm Were Still Here" thread at some point. Could be hilarious.

The Jets would've drafted Tamba Hali at #4 overall, possibly even moved up to #2 to make that pick. I won $500 at the draft because I made a $100 bet with 5 different friends before the draft even started that Herm was picking Tamba Hali. They jumped on that bet in a second, and they all regret it.

Is he even going to see any time at those positions?? I'm pretty sure the depth is...

    KR: Miller, Washington, Cotchery
    PR: Dwight, Cotchery, Washington

There would have to be a fumble and a pickup/return by Smith for that to happen.
