I don't put too much stock in in combine 40 times, but thought it might be fun to start a poll. Vote for your favorite to have the best 40 yard dash at the combine. I listed some of the favorites, you can vote..other and add your favorite. Give a short explanation of your candidate.
Dontay Moch! Just kidding, I went with Jerrel Jernigan. A living lightning bolt on the football field, shame he was looked over out of HS.
That would have been my second choice, as long as Carmichael's ankle is better I expect a good time. He didn't participate (limited) at the Senior Bowl. Carmichael has to be one of the fasteset CBs in a long while.
No Rich Eisen? PS- This thread could also be called "Who will Al Davis Draft with the Raider's First Pick!" This offseason has been sooooooo slow and boring, I cannot wait to watch the fucking combine (which I typically feel every year, but more so this year).
realistically where do you think he will be drafted? I mean if he does run a sub-4.3 forty I can't imagine him being there for our third.. right? is anyone else extremely interested in this kid.. i mean this is the first time I've seen him on this board and have been trying to find some later round OLB prospect because i feel we are definitely taking DL first pick..
If he runs a sub-4.3 live on TV, he needs to stop playing defense and play RB. He is a big project, literally playing off athletic ability alone out there. I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole for his football skills, but his athleticism is off the charts. I think even if he blows up the combine, his best case scenario is mid 2nd. That said, I think he's selected in the 3rd.
Sleeper (read: maybe favorite) for the best 40, Fort Valley State's Ricardo Lockette. National track champ.
Apparently Jernigan is still suffering from an ankle injury Julio Jones was a very nice surprise at 4.39, I knew he easily be under a 4.45, but that is blazing for 220 pounds...
