I don't know what to think? Really a Jet fan can't win, with these new allegations about the Pats filming the Rams I really think they been cheating for years which is how they really built this dynasty, so to root them on is just impossible, but they are playing the Giants, our NY rival, if Giants fans were not so dam cocky, we will never hear the end of it from Giants fans, especially having the Giants beat our division rival who beat our jets twice this year, Mike and the Madd Dogg ballride the Giants enough as it is, they beat the Pats? It will be hell for all Jets fans. I don't know, I guess I have to go for the Giants, I can't root for cheaters like the Pats, I just hope Giants fans show some class and enjoy their teams Championship if they win, and not worry about trashing the Jets.

He's to worried about grading posts rather then responding to the actual post, and FYI, everything is spelled correct so what the hell are you even talking about?

My hate for the patriots surpasses my dislike for the giants.

Hmmph, Belichick thinks he's so smart. I put Molotov Cocktails and M-80's inside all of the footballs. Can't get a leg up on that no matter what he does. And, at least we'll get to watch both teams bomb each other live on TV. Bombgate.

I've been going back and forth on it for two weeks. The Giants would have been a bit easier choice before they started running their mouths and acting like punks again during these two weeks the way they had in past years. I thought they'd gotten over that nonsense with Tiki and Shockey not around, guess not. Here's my list:

    Pros of a Giants win:
-Despise the Patriots more than any franchise in sports
-Will be at a friend's house for a SB party with a bunch of acquantiances rooting for the Giants
-They're a gritty team, easy to root for on-the field

    Cons of a Giants win:
-They have unlikable mouths on the team, hard to root for off-the field
-Some would claim this a greater upset than even the Jets' in '69
-Having Giant fans and the Patriots have recent bragging rights is just too much

    Pros of a Patriots win:
-They have their (tainted) place in NFL history already, what's the difference if they win another one?
-Prevents the Giant fan from also having bragging rights
-Knocks the '72 Dolphins off their pedastal

    Cons of a Patriots win:
-It minimizes the importance of SpyGate being that they went 19-0 after getting caught
-Did I mention how much I despise them? Even aside from the weasel coach they have other cheap players on the team like Harrison
-On top of having a dynasty already they'd have the best single-season team in NFL history

Tough choice eh? Push comes to shove I'll probably still root for the Giants because I do genuinely like my friend and most of the people I'll be with today and my hatred for NE has lasted years, but I do expect nothing but a NE win anyway.

I think you said it best, especially this comment.

    Pros of a Patriots win:
-They have their (tainted) place in NFL history already, what's the difference if they win another one?
-Prevents the Giant fan from also having bragging rights
-Knocks the '72 Dolphins off their pedastal

No one outside of New England is going to consider the Pats a true Dyansty, there are just way to many negative thing's being said with spygate, if the Giants win, it will be a clean win and we'll never hear the end of it. I'm still at a loss as for who to root for but I'm leaning towards the Pats????????

I didn't say it would be easy but they are not going to get full credit for going 19-0. At the very least we'll have something to hold over the Pats fans head, what can you say to a Giants fan if they win??? Nothing.

I never had a problem with the Giants and can't quite understand why so many Jet fans do. To me the Giants were always like that neighbor who lives next door with the hotter wife, nicer car, bigger TV, etc. It may bug you a little bit, but there's no real reason for animosity. And there certainly isn't any reason why you can't let your dog do his business on his lawn every now and then when he's not looking. As for the question of who to root for, it's a no brainer IMO. The Patriots aren't only our true arch rivals, but they're also an arrogant, cheap, dirty bunch of cheating scumbags. And you're right about the Giants being a gritty team, I like that about anybody. I also don't mind the fact that some players run their mouths. You have to keep in mind that this is a team and a coach that has basically been $hit on all year long by the media. As a team, that has to put a certain chip on your shoulder. It's being cocky, there's nothing wrong with that. It's different than arrogant. The Giants are cocky, the Cheaters are arrogant. I believe if karma does, has, or ever will exist, the Giants will put the Cheaters in their place tonight. Although my head believes otherwise.

I don't know if I'd go that far, the Giants are not all that, so far all they have is 1 more ring then the Jets, and have been around NY longer. They have had their fair share of embarrassing moments, huge meltdowns, and lossing seasons. Like I said, if their fans had more class then I'd be all Giants tonight.
