I have at RBs: Chris Johnson, Kevin Smith, Ryan Grant, Julius Jones, Lendale White, Donald Brown I have at WRs: Calvin Johnson, T.J. Houshmanzadeh, Santonio Holmes, Eddie Royal I can start 2 RBs, 2 WRs and 1WR/RB. What do you think is the best combo going into week 2?
Let's make this the start/sit for week 2 thread. If you want advice, you have to put some details on the scoring system. PPR/non PPR. I assume 10 yards per point, 6 points per TD, 4 points per passing TD, no PPR unless I'm told otherwise. And in that case, you go Chris Johnson, Ryan Grant, Calvin Johnson, TJ Housh, and Julius Jones. Though you can make a good case for Santonio Holmes.
.5 PPR, 6 PT Passing TDs...everything else standard scoring: QB - Romo or Flacco (seems obvious, but Romo pulls the Giants and Flacco has a questionable San Diego secondary) RB - Slaton, Grant, Derrick Ward, Fred Jackson WR - Calvin Johnson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Steve Smith (Giants) Ryan Grant, Fred Jackson, Calvin Johnson, and Housh are obvious. I'm obviously leaning towards leaving my #1 in there and starting Slaton, but he's got a brutal Tennessee matchup. Is it worth it to go with Ward against Buffalo?
Chris Johnson (He'll rack up the yards) Lendale White (Will take CJ's TD's) T.J. Houshmanzadeh (Will have a huge game, Hasselbeck is healthy) Santonio Holmes Kevin Smith (Only viable option for Det besides Megatron, should be a must start every week)
Detroit plays Minnesota. Start Kevin Smith at your own peril, but you're only doing so if you think he's going to rack up yards in the passing game. I'd go: Chris Johnson Ryan Grant Julius Jones Calvin Johnson Housh
PPR, 6 pts TD passes QB: Brady or Hasselbeck Now I can start 3 RB and 3 WR or 2 RB and 4 WR and I have the following RB/WR Reggie Bush, Derrick Ward, Julius Jones, Andre Johnson, Wes Welker, Nate Burleson, LaDainian Tomlinson, Darren Sproles, Antonio Bryant, Lance Moore, Kenny Britt Idk wtf to do with that situation.
