Colemans nine lives have to be up. He must have naked pics. If you're going to keep a CB who sucks, at least give me a tall one.

Is this thread a joke? The Lowery hating is insane. Do you watch football? He was blinded. If that was Revis or Cromartie they would have called offensive interference. Or if the Ref knew what he was doing.

Coleman is taking up valuable roster space. We could be drafting a kicker that can tackle. Or a tall WR.

his coverage was pretty damn good, then he got dragged down by the face and dude still had to make a redonkulous catch because lowery was still in solid position

lowery is a cover two corner, he should always have safety help when hes on the outside, and on the inside, hes above average

coleman cant guard guys on the inside, outside, sideside ....

    coleman is far worse

the poll results say it all.

Can we ship Coleman off to Mangini and call it "additional compensation" for Braylon?

Coleman sucks, but this is the most ridiculous statement I've read today.

Coleman is a modern bubonic plague that has infected our roster with suck. Mythbusters should do an episode on him investigating exactly how he's managed to stay on an NFL roster this long.

Couple of plays on Lowery were more fluke than actual talent. The first pass was a defensive PI. Cruz had one hand on Lowery's face mask, blinding him at the last second from breaking up the pass. Lowery doesn't have great speed, but he's pretty good at breaking passes.

The second break Cruz got was when Lowery kept on running to catch the pass, but the pass was under thrown. Lowery didn't see the underthrow, hence he kept on running straight, creating a gap. Cruz did a good job adjusting to the poorly thrown pass. Had that been an accurate pass, Lowery would have had a chance to break the pass if not intercept it. He had good coverage on the play, but just one of those days.

Sure, it sounded like Cruz torched him all second half, but it was more luck than anything else. I bet Cruz won't be repeating such performance against Lowery if they face off again. Although Cruz showed great hands and good speed, Lowery wouldn't have much trouble facing him again.

Now if you wanna leave Cruz on Coleman Island (Coleman Island-thats just sick. Sick as in I wanna throw up), you are bound to get a few TDs.

I think the Jets need to realize that Gholston is done. Even though we wouldn't save a bunch releasing Gholston this year ($2.3 mil in 2010), we wouldn't save much the subsequent years (about $1.2mil in 2011+2012). If that $3.5mil helps Jets get the deal done, I'm all for it. Gholston actually helped the Jets back in April by renegotiating his deal where he gave up much of his salary in exchange for $19mils in incentives (which he obviously isn't going to see a dime of).

Is it though? He only played one full year at a "major" college (TCU). His JUCO years he played WR.

And that may be the problem. They may have told him then they were going to cut him if he didn't renegotiate. Now that he did they probably won't. I can see no other reason why he is still here.
