Who is the toughest player on the Jets? When I say tough, I mean not afraid of contact, and more importantly, playing with extremely painful injuries, and never complaining about it. It seems like fans love players that play the games like their body belongs to their team, and not to themselves.

    Curtis Martin
    Chad Pennington
    Laveraneous Coles
    Other

Tough call, Mangold and Coles both seem pretty tough...

By the way, Martin is no longer really a "player" on the Jets.

Coles this season. He's been banged up pretty much every week and still comes out to play.

The past years though, hands down Curtis Martin.

Centers are usually the toughest and nastiest players on the field, especially if they're good. Mangold is no different.

LOL. I was thinking about putting him and sideline Santana as options.

Mangold. Faces the biggest strongest guys on the opposing team's defense every week and has looked great doing it in all year long. Not bad for a rookie.

In a street fight, Vic Hobson No Doubt. On the field LC, come on how could it be anybody other than him?

I gotta give it to Coles, with Mangold an extremely close 2nd. Week after week Coles has been taking shots, and week after week hes been getting up. Much credit to the guy who is sometimes misunderstood. Mangold is just a bull, and i cant give enough credit to this guy. i hope hes here the next 10 years.

I'd go with Mangold, while also giving some consideration to Hobson and Barton.

My vote is for Pete Kendall. At his very advanced NFL age, playing with a bad back and so many years of wear and tear, yet there he is on every down. He may not be a great guard any more, but for him to play nearly every snap at a time in his career when most offensive linemen would be well into retirement is a hell of an accomplishment.

I'd have to say Curtis Martin. Herm made him play through injuries that would keep other people sidelined.

C-Mart hands down, until he officially retires. Toughest SOB ever to don the green and white.

i split between Martin and Coles. Since Martin is injured and not playing.. my choice is Coles.
