In your comparison, please exclude the strategic aspect. Specifically, I'm asking who he reminds you of in demeanor, attitude, body language, oration, and as leader who can motivate. When he did his initial round of interviews on the radio stations, the first interview in which I heard him, I thought he went on air sedated. Seriously. He reminded of a cross between Jeff Fisher and The Dude. I don't know much about his personality or the types of rallying speeches he can give. So, any input would be appreciated.
Himself. Not being sarcastic to your post. At this point and time he needs to just be left alone and not be compared to anyone.
In the Presser and subsequent interviews I saw on SNY I thought he was very impressive. Didn't listen to him on the radio...I image you might wanna get used that type of style with him. He's not the type that's gonna entertain, schmooze, or give much info to the Michael Kays of the world...Thankfully!
I actually like his demeanor and tone (from the radio interviews) a lot. I'm just wondering if he has any similarities in style to other guys to give me a better image of him when he's communicating to the players.
He reminds me of someone most of us have been looking for. A thoughtful approach to interviews, funny at times without the over the top humor that gets us in trouble with the media. He seems to be a disciplinarian on one side, but with a genuine personal touch and respect for the players and the game. A soft spoken version of Mike Dicka
That's a good description. Haha I'm not sure about the Ditka part though. If Ditka were soft spoken, he'd be someone else.
He reminds me of a coach who hasnt proven or done anything yet......Right now he is still on the hooneymoon fase of things......ask me this question again after the draft and free agency
