    Okay, maybe there's still hope for the Cousins that Minny doesn't sign him, but it looks pretty certain at this point. So just in Case (pun intended), if the Vikings DO sign Kirk, who should the Jets sign?

    I chose "Other" because I don't want them to sign a FA (except maybe McCown) and prefer them to draft their QB. If anyone wants to create a poll for which QBs to draft, feel free.

    Even if they plan on drafting a QB they still need to sign someone.

    Can't walk into camp with a rookie, Petty, and Hack...

    Oh please god no! Watch the video in the Josh Allen thread just posted by grkmanga31. There are others as well. Even if Allen somehow becomes what everyone thinks he MIGHT become, the Jets aren't the team he'll achieve that with.

    Completely agree.
    If we do end up bringing back McCown, I would hope Mac could structure his contract with some type of clause in the contract that will allow us to interview/promote him for a potential coaching role (if he retires before or after next season).

    Mckown and Keenum...cut all other roster garbage at QB and draft another one in the first 3 rounds.

    That sounds like the beginning of a good joke....what's the punchline?

    Macc walks into camp with 3 QBs, Petty, Hack, and...?

    Sadly we already heard that one last year. I sure hope he finds much better material this year.

    They have to sign someone. Don't cop out on your own poll. Pick someone.

    If we don't have Cousins, the best option, then the next best option is "please god literally anyone else besides Josh Allen".

    Potato Bowl and Senior Bowl activities were very positive, and coaches/scouts beam when discussing this kids character and makeup.
    Compare that to how people speak regarding Rosen..

    1. Resign McCown (QB Coach / potential 3 or 4 game starter)
    2. Find a way to get either Rosen, Darnold or Jackson
    3. Draft another QB late
    4. Cut Hack and Petty

    1 - McCown
    2 - Rookie 1
    3 - Rookie 2 [Late round pick]

    Foles I'd at least inquire about, but the cost likely too prohibitive.

    If Minnesota signs Cousins, I hope and pray the Jets sign one of these vets, BUT ALSO draft another QB in the 1st round.

    My picks would be Keenum and Rosen/Mayfield/Darnold/Allen
