And you know what? I could care less how we do it. A win is a win. If the Jets win this game against the Bills while Favre throws 2+ INT's, well then you know what? I will be excited, pumped up and loving the fuck outta this Jets team with a record of 5-3. A team that will be contending for the AFC East with a win on the road against this Buffalo team. An ugly win is always better than a sexy loss and you know why? Because I fucking hate the feeling of a Jets loss on Sundays...I hate it. I guess some Jet fans always seem to forget the bad feelings of a loss after an ugly win from our Jets. We have a lot to be proud of as Jet fans... Last year we only won 4 games all season, this year we already have 4 Wins in 7 games. We had an amazing offseason with the signings of Favre, Faneca, Woody, Jenkins and Calvin Pace... It's been a blessing that all of these players have done their jobs so far here in 08. You know what? Even players like Tony Richardson and Bubba Franks have made this Jets team of 2008 a better team than the Jets of 2007. It would be great to see Gholston have a breakout game today against the Bills but you know what? Last year we had two exciting rookies in David Harris and Revis and this year...We have Lowery and Stucky! We all knew that we needed a #2 CB next to Revis before the season started, we now know that we have one in Dwight Lowery who has the potential to be a #1 CB for years to come...It's just exciting to know that we already have a #1 in Revis. And what about Stucky? This dude may turn into a top notch slot WR one day because the talent is there. Our 3-4 Defense is tough against the run and we can get after the QB with the best of em...Thank you Jenkins and Pace. We have like 24 sacks or something like that in ONLY 7 games! Keys to the game... The Jets front 7 MUST swarm the ball and hit hard! We MUST keep Lynch under 80 yards because if we can force the Bills young QB in Trent Edwards into passing situations, I just have a feeling that either Rhodes, Lowery or Revis will make something special happen. Stuff the run, pressure Trent Edwards into making mistakes and force the Bills to kick FG's instead of allowing TD's On Offense...Lets just hope for Favre to have a solid game and you know what? Lets give Leon Washington more chances to make big time plays. This is a HUGE game for this Jets team...If you ask me, it's a playoff game against this hated Bills team.

A win today is a must for the Jets and Jet fans on this site! Remember when the Bills started off really hot? They were the talk of the AFC East for a while... Well guess what? The Bills are hurt! Their best pass rusher is out! Who is their center? They are ripe for the plucking! We must have an outstanding game plan(s) by the staff and HC. Fvare must play hard and be aggressive! Neon and TJ will run hard and lets use KELLER to open the field up! Lowery must step up big as Revis will be with EVANS all game long! We must have a consistent passrush at opportune times!
No doubt this game is HUGE. A Favre INT is inevitable. Let's just not let it bite us in the ass. The DB's need to step it up in this game. They looked horrible last wweek letting "Pigpen" throw all over them. Edwards is more experinced and should make good decisions in the pocket, so let's flush him out of there with some good pass rush. i think the run D will hold up just fine as long as we make our adjustments when Jackson is in there. Our offense should try to get Washington more involved, that's a no-brainer. I feel like getting Jones going may be the bigger key in the offensive game plan. We have been a very pass heavy team lately. It's time to throw off the defense a little and pound the rock.:bills_suck:

I'm coming into this game with very low expectations. I hope to be pleasantly surprised but I don't see us coming out with a win.
Well you know what? The same can be said for the Jets...We are also banged up, on Defense... No David Harris? That hurts because he's the leader of our 3-4 Defense. Whos going to play next to Barton as our 2nd IMLB? Calvin Pace? Maybe have Thomas and Gholston rushing from the outside with Barton and Pace on the inside? Either way you look @ it... Losing David Harris this week hurts this team. And who is this Bills center? Who knows? But you know what? We are also without E.Smith as our safety alongside Rhodes... I dont think Elam is going to start in replace, it's some other guy and I was asking myself the same thing... Who is this guy? I still believe we will pull this game off but I'm just saying...Lets not act like the Bills are the only team without key players
TF do you mean who cares how we do it? Theres stipulations to meet: - Playcalling must be perfect. This means coaches have to put players in a position to succeed. - We win by more than 3. - Iunno what else my brain isn't working.
I'd love for the Jets to play well all game long, but at this point, if it's an ugly win, I'll take it. I'm pumped!
Obviously I always want a win, but I just want a solid game. Real solid all around and we take the W. No winning cause the other team played shitty, no winning ugly, no winning because of ref calls. Just please put out a real solid, fundamentally sound effort, and show we are a serious team. Put all those doubters questions to bed, and we go from there.
The turnovers cannot happen against good teams like the bills. It needs to be cleaned up. The team can't just hope every week to pull it out with minutes to go.
