it's awesome how JD can hit like .260 and still sport a .830 OPS, i love him when he's healthy, he's a walk machine. in other news, youkilis gets a hit with RISP. go figure.

As long as the Sox win on a given day I want the Yankees to lose. If the Sox were to lose I'd prefer to have Texas lose as well.
I've been missing games lately but it's good to see them beating up on mediocre teams at home. The offense came around just in time for some of the starters to have a few bad games and not be hurt.
good first inning for wake, i thought. one ball was hit hard, konerko's. beckhams hit was a soft nubber, and the hitters were getting chunks of the ball, not hitting it hard.
nice ortiz... still going to end up with a decent amount of home runs this year, despite his .220 avg.
if wake can stay healthy over the next couple starts until dice k gets back, will penny be gone? or will he stick around with the expanded rosters. it would be tough to get him starts obviously, and to get him periodic relief would be awkward as well. maybe garbage time.
dice k isn't being traded. i still feel more comfortable with him out there than tazawa and buchholz with his inconsistency.
