The way USC tailback White's draft stock is falling (and I mean big time), he might be around when the jets pick in the SECOND round. Assuming the jets have picked their QB and an OL in round 1 (just a hunch), maybe they could steal White in the round 2. I actually like Maroney and Williams as RBs better, but if White falls that far he could be a value pick for us in round 2. Does he fall out of round 1? Do we take him if he does?

I look towards Mangold, Carpenter, Lawson pick here ahead of White. I just dont like this kids nonchalant attitude, and working ability

Sadly, it seems the "Don't let your talent outweigh your will" quote applies to Lendale White.

Lendale also had trouble staying academically eligible to play football... generally speaking, that's not a good sign.

I bet if he's taken in round 2, he'll have a chip on his shoulder and play amazingly well his first couple years.

I wouldn't read too much into the media reports.

If he's available at #35, it'll be VERY HARD to pass him up.

I have the Steelers taking him at 32...he is a great goal line RB and would compliment Willie Parker nicely...

I'd take him at 29. He's the most talented RB in the draft besides Bush, and he can be great. Much more important than a center....
