I was just looking over at Gil Brandt's article and thought that it would make for good discussion. 1. Cleveland- new aquisitions include Willie McGinnest, LeCharles Bentley (I was really hoping the Jets would go after this guy since Mawae is gone), Big Ted Washington, OL Kevin Schaffer, Joe Jurevicius, and punter extrodinairre Dave Zastudil. WOW Cleveland is going to turn some heads next season. If Charlie Frye, who I thought showed some promise at the end of last season, is THE GUY the Browns might just be contenders next year. 2. The Spendskins- How how how? I can't figure this one out. Adam Archuleta, one of the best DE in Trevor Pryce from Denver, Antwan Randle El, Christian Fauria, and Andre Carter. They are also still in the running for Abraham. Mr Synder has one heck of a cap analyst. 3. NY Giants- Will Demps to an already improved defense was a great move for the G men. Corner RW McQuarters is also a good signing. Other notables include Safety Quentin Harris from 'Zona, and nickle back Jason Campbell.
If Culpepper is healthy the Dolphins are the most improved team. Hard to go from a backup QB to a potential top 5 starter and not be the most improved team.
Yeah yeah I though about listing them. The words were just too painful to type. Your write on. The Dolphins are a T.O. away from being possibly the best team in the AFC.
Since the fall I've been saying the Browns are on their way. Then they went and signed some good players this week.
