I can't decide. I will start Steven Jackson vs the Cardinals, but every other RB I have matches up against a top-10 run defense. I could go with any one of them, or pick up Laurence Maroney as a FA to start against Detroit. Opinions? Shaun Alexander at Denver (leaning toward after last night, but no TDs and a very good run D at the NFLs best home-field advantage.) Chester Taylor at Chicago(he's been on a great run the past couple of weeks, and a good recieving threat, but its the Chicago D, which has only given up 4 rushing TDs all season) Thomas Jones vs Minnesota (not very likely. Minnesota has the #1 rushing D in the league, and Minn will load up to stop the run and make Rex throw.) Willis McGahee vs San Diego (could be shut down, or could get 100yds and 2 TDs, who can tell?) Maroney FA vs Detroit (A no-brainer if he weren't a platoon back, and Dillon didn't get the red-zone carries.)
Maroney is a free agent in your league? Jesus. I had to pick up Jason Wright this week since I lost Brown to injury. Maroney would be like Gold at this point.
Going with Alexander. According to one of the Yahoo experts, Denver's D has given up great numbers to RBs the last three weeks. Thanks for everybody's input. Oh, BTW, I already ditched McGahee and Jones anyway. I might pick up McGahee in a few weeks if I have to, but with Taylor, Jackson, and Alexander, I should be fine.
Guess who was a FA in my league...Reggie Bush. Now why didn't I think of that? Well, he's mine now
