Does Pedro have anything left? Can Clemens turn around the Yankees? The question isn't so much as asking who will be better because Clemens could be the Cy Young winner and the Yanks could have dug too deep a hole so the net effect is little.
Yeah but then you will also have to look at postseason effect for both pitchers which is much more important than the regular season, and that effect doesn't depend on when either pitcher comes back
Clemens, but not in a positive way. I think him being there every 5th game will tear the Yankees team apart.
Playing wise - neither, both will suck. But I think with the fans, Clemens will effect more. The Yankee fans will give up all hope when Clemens sucks, but when Pedro comes in and sucks most Met fans will just shrug their shoulders and keep rooting.
I guess the way this poll question is worded Clemens should be the obvious answer. ESPN is already covering Clemens every time he leaves the house. I would guess he's already effecting baseball by making every non Yankee fan hate him and the Yankees that much more. I don't think either pitcher is going to have much of an effect on their teams regular season fate though, so I went with Pedro.
 Nice spin, but technically Clemens hasn't returned to pitching in the majors yet so his impact right now doesn't deal with the question
From watching his minor league starts, I have a feeling Clemens is gonna have some good games and some horrible games...but maybe he's just not loose yet.
I think he means that whatever the Mets get out of Pedro right now is gravy considering the situation right now while the Yanks need Clemens for a boost in morale and stability in the rotation Although i do think there will be some disappointment if Pedro flames out in his comeback attempt
Pedro just has to contribute. Clemens has to save the season. Pedro has a much bigger chance of contributing positively then Clemens has of being St. Roger.
nobody in their right mind is expecting Clemens to save anything. The Starters have been pitching fine and imo we're better off without him.
