It's gonna be Broadway Jay Cutler under center for the Jets next season. Those who vote for Jay Cutler will be right.

Idk about that. Say what you want about Cutler, but he has taken a beating over the years and is recovering from some pretty serious shoulder surgery. I could very easily see him calling it quits rather than playing for the Jets.

You forgot Mark Sanchez (and more importantly Tony Romo) on the poll.

Only allows 10 options. I also could have included Shaun Hill, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and every QB draft prospect

If they're smart...a battle between Hack and Petty with a rookie or someone like Geno if they need a "vet"

All of these backups and washed out vets are not going to do shit for us as a rebuilding team so what's the point in spending money or picks??

If you really think McCarron can be a franchise QB (which I don't) then fine, go get him....I don't see anyone else out there who has franchise QB potential.

Better off letting the young kids play...you either hit lightning in a bottle with one of them or you have a top 3 pick in a QB friendly draft. Someone like Cutler or Kap you will win a few more games most likely but end up like 5-11....and then what??

Exactly signing a cutler or romo and going 6-10 or 7-9 is much worse for the future than letting the young guys play and seeing what happens. Who knows hack could be the guy for the next 10+ years. Or he could be terrible and we get the 1st pick both are better than starting cutler/romo.

I personally don't think it's in the best interest of the team to start Hackenberg or Petty unless they show significant improvement during training camp.

How will be learn anything about our young WRs with a guy as bad as Hackenberg manning the ship?

If you watch hacks college tape he reads the d makes the correct adjustments he just had less than a second to execute it properly. He has the football iq, size, and arm to be great. Just needs to work on his footwork and his accuracy will vastly improve.

If you watched him in college you would see a guy who watched the pass rush instead of hanging in the pocket and keep his eyes downfield. I personally think he is a lost cause and think the Jets probably realize this by now.

We shall see... as they say.

I can tell you that Petty sure needs a lot of work based on his tape from last year.

Thats what happens when you get bull rushed whenever the ball is snapped. I have no hope for petty he just locks on to anderson and forces it to him. That rams game was so terrible to watch.

With the QB carrousel going on it looks like Mitch Trubisky is falling in our laps. This year's Carson Wentz will be there at #6 and we won't have to trade the farm to get him, which looked like the only possibility just one month ago. You keep drafting a QB until you get the right one and considering what other teams have paid in the past to get the first QB in the draft, it’s a steal. He may not pan out and most 1st round QBs don't, but we can't afford to take the chance and I would like the kid in a Jets uniform.

The only QB that might be available who actually might be a good stop gap or even a success at a very good price would be Trevor Siemian. He is still under his rookie deal which is peanuts and is a descent QB. A young gun who should get better. If Denver goes after Romo they would keep Lynch and make Siemian available.
