I was reading a couple of posts earlier and a question of what gets you most pumped during the game popped into my head.
I've always been a fan of the D and get get most stoked when they are on the field , how about you and why?

I voted all aspects equally, because even Special Teams get me ramped up if something great happens. Can be a game turner. I am a sucker for broken tackles and a pretty run, though.

i tend to default towards offense, but it really depends on the team the jets have. like in 04 i'd say i enjoyed the defense more then the offense.

special teams mostly just makes me nervous, so i don't generally enjoy that.

offense is probably the most glamorous, but like the saying goes defense wins championships.

However, there is nothing like watching a fine tuned offense firing on all cylinders. The Chargers of the late 70's and early 80's, the 49ers of the 80's. The 98 offense of our beloved Jets was also great to watch.

I'd have to say that I am more of defensive person.
There is just something awesome about a great defensive stop that can just pick up the whole team and change the game.
A big hit or timely turnover. Nothing gets fans more excited than a fumblerama and a green jersey walks away with the ball.
When you are on the road and the D just shuts the crowd up by not letting the O get anything going.
Or at home when the D is getting the whole stadium pumped.

It does work the opposite way as well since nothing makes you want to throw your remote across the room more than the D getting torced on a long play or getting dismantled by Brady.
I guess its the high's and lows and the risk involved in every play along with the teamwork needed for a succesful D that puts it a bit higher than the offense.

When we have the ball we have a better chance to score and a better chance to keep the opponent from scoring. I always want to see the offense on the field.

I like a 28-24 type game over a 13-7 type game any day of the week.

I enjoy all aspects, but I do favor more towards the defensive side.

Offense is more fun to watch and I prefer seeing the Jets on offense more than defense because controlling the clock generally is what teams look to do.

I'm definately in the same boat. The only time I've ever enjoyed special teams in when Santana Moss was our punt returner, before I realized that he just ran sideways and lost yardage on 9/10 plays. When the Jets have a field goal attempt I assume it's going to fail, and when they have a punt attempt I know it's gonna fail (though Ben Graham is helping me forget the years of Turk/Hang Man/Gowin.)

I like watching offense more than defense but I understand that you have to have 3 units that get the job done (though I think that the notion that you can't win a Super Bowl with offense is total BS.)

The thing I enjoy isnt on there. It's the red zone. Whether the Jets or driving or being driven on, it's alway fun to see the play calling when points are so important when you get that deep into the opponent's territory.

I excelled as an offensive player when I was young, so I tend to enjoy watching an NFL offense operate, however conservative or aggressive.

Defense, most definitley. With all the young players we have now, it's fun to see a team work together and there ain't nothing more exciting than a 3rd and long sack.
