I feel like it's almost impossible to be worse than Nate. He's been an OC or HC for 10 years and has produced bottom 5-10 offenses almost every single year.
Paul Hackett at least produced a couple top ten scoring offenses as an OC in Kansas City and had a long resume working for successful franchises in various offensive assistant roles. Nate Hackett has a long resume of being a shitty coordinator with a two year run as the film schmuck for LaFleur in Green Bay that somehow he gets credited with Rodgers success for.
Its not even close... at least the father got the tema to the championship game. Never gonna happen with this stiff unless the OL becomes good and AR plays.
Hackett Jr by a mile. This will be the 4th team he’s lead to a bottom 5 offense and back to back worst offenses in the league
The Russel Wilson turnaround, and almost everything about the JETS offense now being worse doesnt exactly shine a positive light on jr.....
Nate by a country mile. His old man was bad, but at least the offenses he ran here resembled real NFL offenses. Nate's offense is scoring less than a touchdown per game. That's abysmal on a scale that is actually almost impressive.
Gotta go with The Spawn of Hackett. It was a homey hire, not merit based . . . OBVIOUSLY. We all saw the OC coaching difference once Le Fleur got off the sideline and into the booth. It was on an upward trajectory even though many were screaming for his head. I haven't forgotten that Greg Knapp was tragically killed, but Hackett was jammed in here with a crowbar by Rodgers as a stupid condition for coming here in the aftermath is my estimation. So from Jeremy Bates to Mike Le Fleur to Nathaniel Hackett. I guess there's always a first time for the bread to be the actual shit sandwich, not what's in the middle. I hate the Jets.
The son. The knock on the Dad back in the day was his conservativeness. Not taking enough shots downfield if I'm remembering correctly but it looked like a professional offense took care of the ball, ran the ball well with Curtis Martin & at times Lamont Jordan and they did make the playoffs 3 times. I remember in Pennington's first season playing some were making comparisons to Montana-Rice when talking about Pennington-Coles that's how good the offense looked. But this offense my goodness if it's not the worst offense in franchise history it's in the running for the title and it's not because of the personell.
The younger one by a wide margin. Check this article I was just reading from recently regarding Sean Payton and how it turns out he was right. Just like I said on here a month ago. I don't care about Rodgers feelings, Hackett has go to go. HE IS A BOTTOM FEEDER. Check these quotes out from Sean Payton about pre-snap penalties under Nathaniel Hackett: On Wilson’s struggles during his first year with the Broncos, Payton said this: “There’s so much dirt around that. There’s 20 dirty hands, for what was allowed, tolerated in the fricking training rooms, the meeting rooms. The offense. I don’t know Hackett. A lot of people had dirt on their hands. It wasn’t just Russell. He didn’t just flip. He still has it. This B.S. that he hit a wall? Shoot, they couldn’t get a play in. They were 29th in the league in pre-snap penalties on both sides of the ball.” On Hackett, Payton said this: “It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That’s how bad it was.” Sound familiar? WTF? This guy literally needs to be gone asap. It is clear as day he is in way over his head. These Payton comments just back it up once again. Honestly between the fucked up shit Joe Douglas and Hackett have done all I know is I want both of them gone yesterday. They are literally killing this franchise.
This is the worst offense I've ever seen in the NFL. I gave him some time to adjust, but nothing has changed all season. No creativity, no flexibility, no common sense. THIS OFFENSE SUCKS!!
