Don't forget that Fox & CBS lobby for premier matchups, so prime time (ESPN & NBC) doesn't always get what they want. You think NBC didn't want Colts-Patriots from this past year?
Miami sucks, That still doesn't mean we don't almost always get a SNF/MNF game against them! NE also for sure!
I think we should get NE in SNF/MNF this year, but still not a guarantee. The year before last both NE games were Sunday afternoon on CBS.
You messed up with the death pool yesterday and I had a guy mad at me as a result and I didn't do anything wrong.
One of the NE games will be a MNF game. The Giants game will be a SNF or MNF game. My guess for other games will be Dallas/NY on SNF, Balt/NY on MNF again, and SD/NYJ on SNF. So, I think 5 of the games will be in primetime, and I would not be shocked to see 6 with both Jets/Pats games in primetime.
Did I miss a history lesson or did everyone forget the Cowboys suck? Granted, the new coach seems to be taking them in the right direction...
You did miss a history less considering the Cowboys have a rich history that is better than the Jets and Pats combined. However, a recent history lesson has the Jets and Pats more irrelevant than the Cowboys due to the playoff appearances and wins, and SBs. Now that I've caught you up on everything non-Patriots: How have you not noticed that Americas team gets at least two Primetime games a year?
Off the top of my head, MNF had a Saints/Falcons and Vikings/Bears game each of the last two years, so there's likely not any strict pattern or anything. Re: the Cowboys suck. They kind of did last year, but they have to be better next year, and besides... they're America's Team! Jets/Pats has to be a prime time game next season, likely SNF, I'd guess since NBC hasn't had one of their games at least the last two seasons, and the rivalry has to be at it's hottest maybe ever, right now?
I don't get why a team that sucks should be entitled to anything because of their past. EDIT: Do you really buy into that "America's team" bullshit?
