Which 8 don't dress?

    Who is the 8th guy who doesn't dress on Monday?

    I'd like to say the first 7 are pretty clear, but given we only have 3 WR's I'm not sure who #8 is---this may be a who cares type question, but its Friday and I have 5-6 more hours to kill at work.

    The 7: P. Brown, McKnight, Clemens, Dixon, Cole, Cummings, Ducasse--

    I'd imagine that Cumberland would typically be the 8th, but given the need for pass catchers this week is it Mulligan?

    Who sits out?

    What wouldn't Ducasse dress? Is he not 2nd string?

    B/c Turner and Hunter will dress and they cover the whole O-line.

    technically he is the 2nd string LG, but Turner is the backup C/RG--you have to dress Turner and Hunter is the Tackle backup...so I can't see Ducasse dressing unless he has a position on special teams I'm unaware of...

    Why wouldn't Clemens be playing emergency backup?

    Wouldn't you make Clemens inactive and have either Kroul, Cole or Mulligan as an option on the bench?

    rex confirmed a couple of weeks ago mcknight wont dress until he starts practicing better

    Cummings will be active,he's looked really good this pre-season and would likely go in before Laury.

    But the main question is,will Shonn Greene be active?

    hate seeing two of our top three picks not even dressing, connor and wilson will be representing highly though

    I don't think so. I searched the Jets forum and couldn't find any threads on this.

    Can somebody confirm or deny these rumors? Is Shonn Greene active?

    Brunell may be a veteran, but they made it a point, even after they named Brunell the backup, to say that he would take a while to get up to speed in the system. I think they may dress Clemens for the first couple of games if only to hold the clipboard until they feel totally comfortable with Brunell's grasp of the system.

    I'm probably wrong about this one, but it's one of the chances I wanted to take on my list.

    Clemens and Brunell will both be dressed every week. One will be the emergency starter and not counted in the 45. Jets will dress 46 and I doubt Vlad or Mcknight will dress any time soon.
