I know you two have been big time supporters of drafting a QB this year and I have agreed with you guys all along I just never thought it would happen. For the first time I think the chances of us drafting a QB in rd one seem better than they are of us not drafting one. I think it's a great move, nothing against Chad but pinning our hopes on him again would have been a huge mistake and set us back at least another year. So everyone seems to think it may be Cutler in rd 1 but I wouldn't be surprised if we make a move on Leinart either. I would be happy either way and as far as Young goes. I don't think he is the type of guy Mangini and Tannenbaum want so I don't think he will be in the running here.
Yes, I couldn't be happier. Well actually its a bitter happiness because before this past year I believed we already had our franchise QB in Penny. We all know how that played out. But like you said and I agree 100%, I wouldn't be surprised if we made a run at Leinart but probably think the cost will be to much. Chances are they sit right where they are and have Cutler fall right into there laps...So far I couldn't be happier with the directiomn this team has went since this past nightmare of a season ended..

I've been calling for a QB since the Jax game. I'd rather have Cutler than Young so hopefully he make it to us..If he does I don't think there is any question at this point that he's a Jet..
I completely agree...even if Chad does stay and takes that cut I still think they would take Jay. I don't think there is any doubt he will be available. If the Titans didn't take Young they would probably go either defense or D'Brick...I just hope the Jets get their man because from the sounds of it, it seems like Mangini loves the vandy QB
I hope your right but I just have this feeling its gonna be Young that starts slipping in this draft. From the sound of Floyd Reese's interview he is going Qb first round this year and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Fisher fell in love with Cutler coaching him at the senior bowl. I'm hoping Young has some great workouts and really solidifies a spot in the top 3.
