Er just realized I posted in the wrong section >< Eitherway its nice seeing the Colts get what they deserve
What do you mean get what they deserve ? They didn't do nothing wrong. We played them were winning and then did what we normally do and shit the bed and got beat fair and square, no reason to be bitter. Anyway - Great job by the saints, Brees is too fucking good.
Nah Colts didnt deserve to beat the jets. Everyone praised Peyton for "figuring the Jets out", when in reality it came down to Greene getting hurt plain and simple. The Colts are probably the most 1 dimensional team in the entire history of the NFL and definitely do not deserve to be superbowl champions.
It wasn't Greene so much as Lowery and every other DB getting hurt. All Peyton did is pick the JETS at the point of weakness...oh WOW , he's a genius! Fuk him, I have a COLTS fan friend and he creams all things Manning. I put him maybe 3rd on the all time list.
I don't need a Colts fan when I know the jets would have lost to both teams. Let's get serious here. These two teams were kick ass all year.
I'm taking the higher road here. As a fan of the losing Super Bowl team you gotta be feeling like shit at this point. No need to pile on. I know if it was the Jets losing in the SB, I'd be devastated.
The Jets lost for a number of reasons: 1) Injuries, Shaun Ellis, Bart Scott, Lowery, Strickland and Greene. 2) The Jets, due to their own fault had to play meaningful do or die games against the Colts, Bengals, Bengals and Chargers leading up to the AFC Championship game. Meanwhile The Colts had a week off prior to the Ravens and with the guys who dressed vs the Jets were healthy and not exhausted from flying all over the country. 3) Peyton Manning played maybe the best 32 minutes of football I've ever seen a qb play. I'll give him credit for playing out of his mind. I'm not looking to take anything away from the Colts but they won two playoff games against wild card teams at home with inexperienced qb's. The Colts offense is extremely good, but they really don't have an answer for opposing teams passing games. The Jets biggest mistake was not letting Sanchez throw the ball more once they got up in the AFC championship game. The Colts were giving away the short passes all day. I'm happy with the season, I'm happy with Sanchez and Rex. The future looks bright as long as Tannenbaum can resign our own guys and keep drafting well.
