Tanny is the only one out there making quotes. I know Rex promised to lay low-er, but ANY head coach would be talking to the press about a trade like this one.

Maybe Rex has learned something about opening his mouth without having a company script in front of him.

    Exactly. Like he said.

Rex is trying to find the players to fill the rest of our holes.

Good. The less he says the better. Keep him away from the microphone.

It does seem odd that Foghorn isn't outfront talking up Tebow as if he's the second coming of Fran Tarkenton.

Finding a rope that's strong enough so he can hang himself?

Tebow's gonna do the full-blown "Say hi to New York" presser tomorrow.

I'm assuming Rex is going to be there. If not then break out the tin-foil hats.

Some insiders saying Rex opposed Tebow trade and may pitch for an end-of-preseason trade away to another team.

Got a link? If this is true, it does not bode well for this season.

yeah and people willing to go on record stated that Rex was one of the calls to Tebow that convinced him he wanted to come here and be a JET

Uhh no. Apparently Tebow coming here was Rex and Sparano's idea to solidify the ground and pound approach.

I really don't think Rex gets as much say so in decisions as one owuld think. I just get the sense that he just shuts up and coaches the players on Tanny puts on the field.

I would guess that is total bullshit but just to keep it going...Jacksonville has the number 7 pick and a lot of mock drafts have them taking Quinton Coples...guess whose pro day Ryan attended earlier in the week...drum role
