Personally I think we have some very solid players on this team. We also have some very serious flaws that must be fixed before we can move forward.

As bad as it may have looked to many of us today, we are only a few players and a full offseason away from being a very solid team. Mark Sanchez has become a very large question mark this season and his future after some of his preformances we have seen recently, has to put his long term stay with the Jets in doubt.

Schotty, well , what can you say, I really don't think he is bad as many of you think. I really believe the QB's lack of abilitiy to exceute the game plan really makes his offense look much worst then it is. Yet, it certianly may be time for a change all the same, more so if Mark is to be under center for one more year.

Rex, Yeah, many people don't like his mouth or boaster or how he carries himself. You know what, fuck them, Rex is a damn fine coach with an excellent defensive mind, manybe the best coach we had here in almost ten years. For all the folks who call themselves fans and want to talk shit about Rex, you have not followed this team long enough to know what a bad coach is..While Rex always wants to win that big game tomorrow, we old timers know it's a long process....

Anyway, even if we won today we would still be facing the same issues that have to be addresses and would have not gone deep into the playoffs. This way, reaility will hit the decision makers square in the face and hopefully the hard choices that need to be made will get done this off-season and we will come out of this season a stronger and tougher team better able to do the things Rex sees this team doing, under his leadership

New safety, a good pass rusher, and a RT. and o-line depth.

It may be time to stop listening to Rex's pressers as we all know its nothing but hot air and a waste of time. You'll get the usual statements sprinkled in with a joke before a big game loss and then a mea culpa afterwards along with the usual platitudes for his underacheiving bunch.

Add a WR and a new Offensive coordinator... Although all of this would be extremely hard to pull off.

Jets offense is mediocre - it has been for the past HALF FUCKING DECADE. Are you telling me players consistently choose to drop the balls, fumble the ball away, get intercepted or called for foul voluntarily just to be mediocre? FOR A HALF FUCKING DECADE? WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SHIT?

Man, just what did Schottenheimer do for you guys? Did he give you guys a million dollars each or something?

At the very least we bring in a solid QB to compete for the job. But its not out of the question that we cut Sanchez and sign Orton. Which would be a huge upgrade.

If The Colts do not pay Manning his $28 bonus in March and he healthy I would not be surprised to see the Jets go all in and sign him. It would require a huge bonus and deferred cap money and likely cap hell in 3-5 years. But it could mean a championship. It is like the reason we brought in Tom Moore to help sell Manning on the Jets. With a healthy Manning our OL suddenly become great, Keller becomes great, Holmes , Kerley and whomever is left at WR become very good and our defense gets to play with a lead almost every game. I don't know how we lose a game with Manning. The Colts teams were terrible and he elevated them to greatness. The Jets are already good at every position but QB. Undefeated could be a possibility. Manning wanted to be a Jet in 97 and now he can finally be one. Lot of ifs there. Is he healthy, will the Colts let him go and will the Colts still get the number one pick. We have to root for the Colts to lose this week. Without Luck I doubt Manning leaves. But besides the risk the upside is trmendous. It may only be 2 or 3 good years. But the possibility of 2 or 3 great years is worth the risk and Tannenbaum and rex are both gamblers.
