I'll turn it on at noon. I'll start paying attention after around pick #12. The Jets would never be able to trade up prior to that. I'll probably watch it through their pick. The second round goes much faster so I will probably watch that too. Then I'm out.
Normally I watch it from the start since I like to see what my friends teams are doing plus what the rest of the AFC is doing, but since i'm moving on draft day I probably won't be able to watch until after 2ish
I'm sorry but on a weekend afternoon there is much BBQing, football playing, drinking, and hangover nursing to do. If church, family deaths, and fire and brimstone rain aren't enough to hinder my schedule, I don't think that the NFL draft will do the job. I'll check in and watch some of the first round but that's about it.
the first round is my only true interest... just to see how/where everyone fell.... after that, i'll just flip back and forth for the jets picks....
i will watch the entire day 1....i'm hoping we trade back into round 4 so i have an excuse to watch day 2(i will anyways) i am still in college...this is just another excuse to drink and eat wings/nachos on the couch all weekend you have to be careful though....one year i didnt pace myself and drank myself till i knocked out on the couch i woke up and we had traded down for nugent and jolley...and were about to select miller----that was miserable
I'll skip the first few picks and then flip back and forth every 20 minutes or so. I just hate how long ESPN drags it out in the beginning. In theory, the first few picks should be off the board in 5 minutes, but because they need time for ESPN to introduce all their reporters and for Kiper to go down his Big Board, they'll all take their fully alloted time. Things don't typically get interesting until about 6 or 7 picks in.
I'll be on ESPN from about 7 am through whenever it finishes, then I'll be there for the entirety of day 2.
Noon Eastern I will turn it on at about 7 AM Pacific and switch between that and the Yanks-Red Sox game. I will watch it on my black and white no sound ESPN (not suppossed to have it in the first place), and listen to ESPN Radio:up: Also am going to a friends house on Day 2 to watch it in Color with a few other people
