    I was a senior in high school when the Doors' first album came out, January 1967. Heard "Break On Through" on AM radio and fell in love with it. Bought the album the next day. It's still one of the best albums I've ever listened to.

    they made that album in less than a week. 6 days and the tracks were done.

    I saw Ray and Robbie Krieger last year in Boston with that dude from the Cult. Fucking awesome. A true original.

    One of my two favorite keyboard players (Rick Wakeman being the other). RIP.
