Actually I should have called cops who would disrespect the funeral of a fellow officer in order to produce a photo op purported to scorn the mayor much worse than "nitwits." You seem to be unable to capture the idea that a standard of training and performance is rightfully to be expected from the police. If you are suggesting that the cops in your video did not call for assistance then there is the huge question of "why?" If someone up the chain of command ordered them to just ignore it the question would be an even bigger "why?" Cops in the NYPD don't take an oath to "serve and protect" anyone, they take an oath to uphold the Constitutions of the United States and the State of New York to the best of their ability, which means they can't decide on their own who gets beaten and who does not, they must act within the law, whether they like it or not. If doing so is not within their ability they're in the wrong job. You should probably also indicate where your second quote came from if you believe your comment is worthy of a response.
