Actually I should have called cops who would disrespect the funeral of a fellow officer in order to produce a photo op purported to scorn the mayor much worse than "nitwits."

You seem to be unable to capture the idea that a standard of training and performance is rightfully to be expected from the police. If you are suggesting that the cops in your video did not call for assistance then there is the huge question of "why?" If someone up the chain of command ordered them to just ignore it the question would be an even bigger "why?"

Cops in the NYPD don't take an oath to "serve and protect" anyone, they take an oath to uphold the Constitutions of the United States and the State of New York to the best of their ability, which means they can't decide on their own who gets beaten and who does not, they must act within the law, whether they like it or not. If doing so is not within their ability they're in the wrong job.

You should probably also indicate where your second quote came from if you believe your comment is worthy of a response.

It's not surprising you missed this part: "That is not to say that when the voice of reason has been ignored for far too long that something may occur to finally have the hacks hear it."

I know. So you played both sides and didn't take a stance instead separated the encampments from the protests as if they're in anyway different.

My point was very clear; the defund the police movement in terms of protests, rhetoric and what not is the reason it's happening and as usual you spun it in a dumb ass circle.

My point is very clear to anyone who can comprehend what they read. Problems with many police departments have long existed, they have been talked about forever and changes have been made, there are more changes needed. Politicians don't like change, sometimes push needs to come to shove to get them to move but that doesn't mean it is something they're hearing for the first time. We have just seen a huge wakeup call for politicians everywhere.

    What happened to this country?

We let the billionaires/oligarchs control everything and they've spent two+ decades using the divide and conquer approach on the rest of us.

Nice backpedal from @Jonathan_Vilma's original statement.

Just admit you misspoke and move on.

Protests are very different from encampments, why would anyone even attempt to argue otherwise? Who's the dumbass here?

Just because you're apparently unaware that people have been calling for police reform for decades is no indication it hasn't been happening. That's as straight as an arrow but feel free to keep going around in circles, it suits you.

There's absolutely nothing at all inconsistent in what I've been saying but at least when you're busy backing your tag team buddy you're adding a tiny bit of your opinion rather than just dropping a link without the most meager comment.

You tell me. You have all the answers. You're just reluctant to share them.

If you're attempting to imply I ever stated that cabin fever was the sole reason for any of this you're quite wrong. But you knew that.

The answer is in the post you quoted...you just pretend not to grok.

Cabin fever was a conclusion you came up with.

Yeah, you're right. If you completely ignore the part that said "I really don't know but... ." And the part that said "may have had something to do with it."

You surprise me every day; I actually thought you were brighter than that.

Looking more like a Alabama Trump Rally. Or a meeting of Moonshine Anonymous.
