Is David Clowney going to see some action today? Would love to see him on the fast track in the dome.

what i would love to see first play, is 3 wr, Cotch Stuck and the Clown, PA fake, bomb down the left sideline into clowneys outstretched hands as he races into the endzone.

    real first play call

spread formation 3 wr. handoff to leon off left guard for 6 yards.

I was disappointed you switched to the "real" call, because I think you first one will be the real call...except I see him on the right sideline.

I predicted a 100 yard game for The Clown today, so that's my response to the OP.

As Rex says, "No one can cover THE CLOWN"!!!...and I believe everything Rex says

I hope the first play is a kickoff return for td by leon, even though that doesn't count as a play.

    real first play call

Thomas Jones runs up the middle for a gain of 1 yard.

We need a bomb early and definately by the second drive. the saints will look to dominate our questionable running game, and in order to keep them honest we need a bomb. Who better to throw it too than Clowney?

We really need to stretch the field, what would it hurt to have given him a shot?

we need another WR desperately! I love Leon but he can't be your 2nd leading receiver in catches every game.

He tweeted he was mad about playing time. Basicly calling out his coach in public.

If you Blog or tweet about your boss being unfair in the work place your likely to lose your job. Clowney was a fucking fool for what he did. Mr. August is not that great of a receiver or that smart of a person.

I've been saying this for awhile, as I've seen Clowney practice many times at VT and several times as a NY Jet. He doesn't practice well at all, but when he plays in a game, he always makes the most of his opportunities. At VT, he was the best WR on the team, and that team had Eddie Royal, Josh Morgan, and Josh Hyman (all NFL WRs). I think he should be given a better opportunity on the field during a regular season game. If he sucks it up, then we know he is just a preseason wonder. But he needs a shot to prove he is nothing, or prove that he can play.

Couldn't agree more. We need to establish the deep threat early. Even if it goes incomplete, when they see Clowney's speed it will force them to stay honest and pull someone back out of the box.

THEN we'll see the running game open up

Yeah but holding him on the bench isnt helping either... I could see one game and today makes 2.. Next week he should get some reps.. Cotchery cant do it all alone we need to build a supporting cast

Well we would all agree that this coaching staff is better than the last one? Correct?

How come this is the third staff that has basically by their actions thought Clowney sucks? (counting Green Bays) Think maybe there is something to this?

Stuckey is a decent #2. For what ever reason they have Smith at 3 ahead of Clowney and have all season. It was not just the tweet that did him in.
