Whats the deal on Jon Runyan?

Sounds like he'd like to stay in Philly and is using the Jets for money and/or fallback.

 

I hope he signs with us becase Ashworth just signed with Seattle. We can draft an OT but it would be nice to sign Runyan

 

there may more to it than just using us for bargaining.

his home and family are in NJ; staying with Philly ensures he'll be close to them, but so does signing with us.

However, unless the price is right, I can't see a player with little time left signing with a team who isn't going anywhere for another 2 years.

hopefully, he's satisfied with the Org, coaches, and contract so he'll want to come here.
