What's our cap number?

    With Ab now out of here, what does that leave our cap number at?

    Something around $18-$20M.

    $14.3M + $8.3M - Chatham - Dwight - Von Oelhoffen = Jets' cap room. Jetscap.com says our 2006 cap # is $82,397,137. The cap is $102M, leaving the Jets with about $20M room for rookies, FAs, etc.

    22mil wow..Move over looks like the Jets have money to spend..too bad almost everyone I wanted has been signed already..

    I think if we use this extra cap room to sign Runyan and this LB from Tennessee, then it will be a strong sign that we're targeting Super Mario at #4 (as opposed to Hawk or D-Brick).
