New smoker is working out just fine! Got the Masterbuilt Gravity Fed 1050. This thing is a beast of a smoker. as it does quite a few things very well..

Looks delicious boss. One of those days, I will get into smoking business but looking to move to a new house first.

    Looking good cman.
Today I’m reverse searing a London broil. 2 hours in the smoker with apple wood then 3 minutes a side on the grill to finish.

That looks awesome! I’m a crock pot junkie. Every Sunday during football season I use it.

So my outdoor kitchen is coming along nicely. I still have a ways to go as I have to stone the island and paint all of the white PVC. But the appliances have been hooked up and I've used them a few times. The best thing I've cooked so far has been a pork butt that I smoked on my Kamado Joe. It was the first time I've ever smoked anything and the first time I've ever used a kamado type grill. I can't even begin to describe how awesome the pork came out. It took about 10 hours but it was the best pulled pork I've ever had. I can see myself using this kamado more than anything else that I've bought. It just fell apart I went to shred it. If you've never cooked on a kamado, I highly recommend it.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Man that is my dream set up.

My new house has a super tiny backyard. I am putting in a 14x12 deck. My goal is to hook up a gas grill and put a smoker right next to it.

Spring 2022 can't come soon enough.

I highly recommend a Kamado type grill. You can pretty much do anything on them, from low and slow to a wood fired pizza.

Are you serious? I have never ever been to White Castle. What's special about them?

    Thanks!

I'll have to see what's available. It can only fit two 1/6 tall kegs and the selection is not as great as the tall 1/4 kegs. I'd like some sort of domestic light beer on one and something I actually like on the other. I'm going to see if I can get Blue Point Toasted Lager in that 1/6 size keg. That's a good one.

I'd I only want one tap going, then my options are wide open. It will even fit a full 1/2 keg.

Go buy the frozen ones you that you can get in the grocery store. That will let you know if it's worth a trip to White Castle. I don't mind them but I wouldn't drive more that 15 minutes to get them and I'd definitely have to be in the mood. I put them in the class as a McDonald's cheeseburger. You like them because you've eaten them since you were a kid but if all you ever had was real burgers and then tried one as an adult you wouldn't be impressed and might think they are gross. That's my take at least.
