Water under the bridge but I will play Mine was Mayfield Rosen Darnold Jackson Allen Shows you how much I know college QB's. Hence I rely on QB whisperer @legler82
I wound up with Mayfield, Darnold and Jackson at the top with the knowledge that there was no way Jackson was going to go that high. I had Rosen up top until he started talking to the media a couple of months before the draft and it became clear that he didn't think he was going to be a great QB. If you don't think you are going to be great there is no way you are worth a 1st round pick. Probably there is no way you are worth a pick at all. I wanted no part of Allen. He was mechanically bad, inaccurate on medium range passes and he had very bad habits - like turning his back on the field of play when he scrambled. I can't think of another QB who fixed as many bad habits and mechanical problems as Allen did post-draft and he waited a couple of years to get it all finished. Maybe Terry Bradshaw comes to mind in that regard but no NFL team could wait as long today as the Steelers did with Bradshaw. Teams don't control players like that in the modern day and the cap screws up long-term holding plans anyway.
