    Kyler Murray was picked because of this. Was he a no doubt number one overall pick otherwise?

    Well I don't know how many coaches would align themselves with a possible lame duck QB then.

    I also hope we don't go after Urban Meyer

    No, only because of KK was he picked #1 overall.

    That’s my point. Either JD forces the Darnold issue ( or hires a defensive minded head coach) or he hires the best coach available and lets him have a say in the draft.

    Man if he could turn that kid around, we could sign him to a 20 year 20 million dollar contract prior to the season.

    I honestly wasn’t sure, but it seemed like they pivoted after KK got hired.
