I'm bored and can't go to bed, so I was looking at the Jets v. Bills highlights from last and something is just really bothering me from me. If you go to the 2:18 point where they show the replay of the Bills TD (behind the endzone angle), it looks like Thomas dodges the ball as it is coming his way likes its a snowball or something.

I was wondering if I am just seeing things, or if anybody else is seeing this... What is going through that guys head?

I thought the same thing when watching the game yesterday. But after seeing it from a few different angles it looks as though the ball is already passed him when he tries to swat at it so it looks like he is dodging it.

Yea I can't tell if it whizzes like right by his hands or its just the angle and its a lot higher... Ah well. Still looks kinda comical to me (if we got an L last week I wouldn't be as peachy about it)...

Ive seen this team do this before, I think it was thomas that time too. The ball was coming right at him and actually would have hit him but he dodges it. TRY TO CATCH IT, NOT RUN AWAY FROM IT!

We've collectively been wondering what Bryan Thomas has been doing for years now. Watching him play dodgeball just adds to his legend.

What?? BT has been f*cking awful. He's provided no passrush, and has not made many plays within the run game. As expected, his coverage skills are mediocre... He got all of his 4.5 sacks in the first 4 games of the year. His contract should be restructured if they don't want to release him! 2006 was an aberration.

Yup, he definitely needs to pick his game up. He got 2 sacks against the Fins i think, so maybe he can finish strong

Probably a new and insidious plot to bamboozle the organization out of a couple more million.

funny you posted this. i was also reliving the game via highlights and the one thing that stood out was a jet player waving 'bye bye' to the ball as it sailed passed him for 7. i didn't catch who the player was, only the 'adios' hand gestures.

possibly thomas was caught off gaurd by the 2-step bullet the wized past him. hell, even revis didn't stand a chance and revis was right on his man.

    good thread

I was a little more annoyed at how Thomas tried to jump on the loose ball after Elam forced the fumble and it just popped out of his hands like a wet bar of soap.

Yeah, that was a really lame attempt at a fumble recovery. Had Ellis not swooped in to save the day, Thomas would never hear the end of it

Ha thanks it's the first one I have made so a little confidence booster always helps... Yeah Revis was all over that guy, just like any other time I see a reception against him. BT definitely could have disrupted that I think.

And to reply on who was talking about BT lack of a fumble recovery I remember yelling at the TV "Thomas f***in butterhands SOB!" or something like that. It worked out luckily...

You guys should be a little nicer. I remember BT saving our ass a few plays before the Sack/Fumble Recovery.
