Yes- and everything would be great, and everyone would be happy. Think playful puppies and rainbows from sea to shining sea.
Yes they would, but people would still complain about Schotty and Coaching error. Most Jets fans need a morphine drip and then a lot of this nit-picking criticism would go away. We get a good rookie QB and because he is not playing like Dan Marino in his prime already, people are dissatisfied.
I'd also like a WR who was able to fly. Not like Superman fly but just be able to catch a ball and take like a 20 yd leap over defenders. I think that would make us better.
No. They'd still be the SOJ and find a way to lose.. this is why the Jets can't have nice things. Oh woe is us.
You'd have great regular seasons followed by crushing one-and-dones for six out of nine years. Maybe AP would change it, but Manning's 7-8 playoff record is less than stellar for someone considered one of the top five QBs to ever suit up.
If Peyton was our qb we wouldnt complain about Schotty because Peyton would call his own plays or audible when schotty called something stupid
What if our defensive line was Jenkins at nose with Haynesworth and Wilfork at end? And Asomuga (however u spell his name) started opposite Revis?
What if LT was our linebacker. What if I didn't have as much acne on my face in 11th grade? Could I have actually gotten laid?
funny thing about LT - he was drafted 1 slot before freeman mcniel in 81 by the giants and i remember someone asking him the "what if" question several years after he retired..... he said he couldn't stand gastineau so there was no way he would've stayed with the jets. jil
Actually, we wouldn't even need Schotty, as Peyton Manning essentially is the OC. Except we'd have SB trophy to go along with that. I'll take it over going to the Playoffs and losing the Div Rd anyway without ever sniffing a SB.
we could put 9 in the box because NO ONE would ever throw the ball against a team with those 2 on the corners
this cannot be a serious a question, if we had those two players wed be looking at a 16-0 season, no doubt
