What is this rumor?

    I was listening to the Dan Patrick show this afternoon and as usual he was making a big deal out of nothing (the non handshake) and he mentioned some NFL people at ESPN that didn't want their names to be mentioned but they said Mangini was recruiting players to come to the Jets on the plane ride back from Denver. Is Dan Patrick blowing smoke or is there some substance to this?

    My thinking is there is nothing to this rumor because I there would definately be some tampering charges filed.

    i think he means afyer the Pats/Donks playoff game. Wasn't that game played in NE?

    Thats what I was thinking.... wow Matt Chatham a non starting LB and they cut Hank Poteat.

    Like I said if there was any proof to this those bastards would have filed tampering charged in a minute.

    If this is true, then I'm pretty disappointed. All Mangini could swindle away from New England was a backup LB/ST player, and a crappy PR?
