My poor mother lost her mom when she was 3. She was raised by a stepmother. She was never sent to school. She never knew how to read and write. Her only luxury in life was to ride the public bus service in town. May Allah rest her soul.
She was a fierce fighter like these women. https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-new...omen-kurdish-group-fighting-isis-102681157847
My mom never owned a car but my grandma got a mustang after grandpa died. Unfortunately it was the 1979 Ghia, all 88 hp of it from that big 4 cylinder engine
The best one? a maroon 1989 Dodge Caravan ..... she carted us around everywhere in that thing, took out out the back seat so the surfboards could fit in the back.... and I drove it in high-school while I was working/saving for my own vehicle. Then years later when my brother moved back to NY and had his Ranger totaled by a hit-n-run drunk driver, he took that van, and kept it going..... probably held together by duct.tape and a prayer towards the end, but had like 300K on it. Final straw was when he was working on it out side his apartment, some drunk guy with a throat voice box almost hit him and ripped the driverside door off the hinges.
That's a good looking car. GM really hit their hi-point in the 60's as to style. Bill Mitchell was a genius designer.
Subaru Brat. But that’s back when she was a whore. just kidding. it was a Toyota Starlet. Not a great year for whoring.
Buick has always been my secret crush for sleeper drag cars, from the Riviera to the GSX to the Grand National, those cars are just fucking tough.
that Fuckin riviera.....looked exactly like the one i posted. 425 8 cyl that rocked. best part was the upside down u shaped transmission handle and rolling speedometer. learned to drive in that thing. actually, several "firsts" occured in that car. LOL.
Not sure if it was the first but it was the one I saw growing up. Cool car except the fact that my parents were still sharing this one in 1998 with a massive hole in the passenger side floor board that was Flintstone-esque. 1983 Thunderbird.
