Well it looks like the Giants are trying to move either further up in the 1st round or possibly trying to get 2 first round picks. So this got me thinking we got a few needs still 1 pick in rounds 1 and 2 aren't gonna do it. What if? http://www.nypost.com/seven/04122009/sports/giants/big_blue_may_use_extra_picks_164109.htm Giants trade 1.29 (640 PV) 2.60 (300 PV) Jets Trade 1.17 (950) or would you rather Giants trade 2.45 (450 PV) 2.60 (300 PV) 2010 1st Round (640 PV) (For argument sake Ill say they get eliminated in NFC championship and future picks are usually worth less pts when they work these out) Jets Trade 1.17 (950) 3.76 (210) All in all its a boring day and just looking for something to talk about.
I'd take the first trade scenario. Moving down to 29, and getting an extra second rounder a couple of picks behind our first second rounder. Some of the guys we want should still be there at the end of the 1st round like Britt/Gilbert/Sean Smith/Pettigrew...someone is bound to slide to 29. I like the trading back scenerio rather than getting a first rounder NEXT year, just my opinion.
i like both Scenarios personally and would be happy with both. The key is to trade back this year pick up tons of picks, by getting a first next year, gives us flexibility to wheel and deal next year, or stand pat and pick up two guys who could help us, or say we need that QB, 2 firsts would go a long way in helping us move up to get the top guy available.
