He would do a mega trade for Watson?

would Tanny do it? Yes In a heartbeat he’s more of a riverboat gambler.

but nothing in Joe’s past present or time with other organizations points to these types of moves.

    nothing

the guy is conservative and believes in rebuilding the foundation of a home before buying a $100k gourmet kitchen that could collapse.

Just get over it. Build it right.

Even if you disagree it’s ok. Joe is what matters. And he’s much smarter than you and your friends.

This is easy... he was part of a mega trade to move up and get Wentz.

Nothing in JD's background is useful for predicting what he'll do regarding Watson because nothing like this has happened in the NFL before.

    Lol @ “mega”

Guy is not going for this fools gold in Watson

despite the desire from traffic based sites like this trying to push it (I respect all the owners need to make money, but don’t push baloney)

    not gonna happen

    thank god by the way

He wasn't with the Eagles during the 2016 draft so he had absolutely no input on the move to trade up for Wentz...

I think JD will not go too big but will get value players, not big names to fill the holes. I think the only big name player in FA will be a DE.

I also think he s going to go a different direction with a QB and trade Darnold. However I wouldn’t be surprised if he trades the #2 pick to get more high end draft picks this year and next year.

how often has a top 3 qb in the league who is 25 years old been available? that never happens. if he didnt try to get him he would be a fool. the jets have been throwing darts at the draft board for the past 50 years trying to get a qb like watson and have missed every single time. if he wants to pass that up and hope he can find a guy in the draft hes an idiot.

I’m just amazed there isn’t a thread anywhere else where this has been discussed ad nauseam for months.

If we can just let this one die, that'd be great. Thanks fellas.

I'm not giving up anything for Watson. He is not what we need and giving the Texans a bunch of draft picks for him would set the Jets franchise back even further.

The 5 Best Beignets In New Orleans

Might I suggest you try them all?

For all those who haven't heard of beignets, they are essentially donuts—deep-fried, powdered sugar-covered donuts. Donuts so good you can eat piles of them at a time. Delicious, delicious donuts. And you've got to eat them in New Orleans, where they come from.

Here's a round-up of some of the very best ones in the city. Please note Cafe Du Monde's beignets are far and away the best ones. That said, the other ones are OK too. :)

Bakery Bar describes these gorgeous King Cake-inspired beignets as "filled with a whipped Grand Marnier cream cheese and dusted with cinnamon-infused sugar." They're a prettier, fancier alternative to the heap of simply sugared ones you'll inhale elsewhere.

People will fight over the validity of Cafe Beignet earning a spot on this list. The sturdier, crunchier texture of these particular beignets is offensive to all those who believe "pillowy" is the only way a beignet can be—and a delight to all those who think differently.

Words betray me when it comes to Cafe Du Monde. It's just. They're just. The whole experience is. Everything about the place is grand, from the towering plate of extremely hot powdered beignets thrown at you to the frozen chicory coffee you get to chase them down. A trip to the city isn't complete without at least three stops here.

    Love,

A woman who's put down nine of these in one sitting.

The New Orleans Coffee & Beignet Co. is a chiller beignet-eating experience. Sit, have a coffee, stay awhile, pop a few tens of donuts (they're a bit smaller and denser, so it's possible to eat even more of them). Enjoy!

    Sobou

Known primarily for their insane boozy brunch, Sobou's also got the option of savory beignets, which is something you'd also be remiss not to try while in the city. Go for their classic sweet potato bites. If you still need something sweet, their King Cake beignets aren't bad either.

Hmmm, a young, healthy, elite quarterback is not what the Jets need? Maybe re-sign Flacco for another four or five years? That would cover half the problem - then what?

Anything? You wouldn’t trade anything for him? What about Nathan Shepherd? He did look good last year.

My family lives in Houston and watches them all the time. He is not elite like many of you believe and that franchise is loony as they just let their talent got for nothing. D Hopkin what a second round pick, Watts just cut without anything. If Douglas wants Watson just wait he'll hit the street for free.
