This guy used to be so dependable for sanchez and geno, do teams plan specifically for him now? is he like injured or just not getting open?
Hes another B level player on the Jets. Theres nothing wrong with him. Hes never put up big numbers, why start now. He'd be great is he was our 4 th best WR on the roster
Marty went out of his way to feed Amaro. Kerley got very little chances, at least judging from broadcast. I think it's an schematic thing vs Den, Kerley was as good as he's ever been after Decker went down vs Chicago. He's the same guy.
He's a slot guy playing vs #1 and #2 DB's...... So his production isn't consistent. Good DB's shut him down easily.
I was thinking the same thing, but then I realized it has coincided with Geno's horrendous play over the last couple games, excluding today of course.
Bad year so far for him and had a couple drops, when used sparingly he is a great receiver in my opinion
I think there was one game this season when he had 8 targets but only 3 receptions. But he's not having a good year. I thought he has the talent to be a playmaker and a guy they go to regularly. I think a lot of this is on Marty. I would be giving Kerley a big role in the offense.
Go look at the game tying catches he made vs GB and Chicago ... Both phenomenal grabs in traffic. Too bad for him that Richardson called TO and Geno threw the other one out of the end zone. If you think this guy can't play you're out of your mind. He's one of the few players on this offense who DOESN'T suck. If he was on a team like SD, NE or INDY he'd be producing good numbers every week.
