I have gotten very bored reading Posts like Maximus who try to explain why Idzik did what he did with CB situation....who cares to rehash. Notice I said one game since there is a possibility we could lose them all..no? I personally have no clue how with the attitude and behavior of both Coaches and Players lately how we win anything. In my blind optimism last Spring, I thought 10-6 There is no ghost of Al Davis, if we were the Raiders, to say "just win baby!". Heh I grew up in Brooklyn too. Just saw on TV, no Decker for Sunday. Great. What FAs will come to work for us? Or do the Jets scare people away? This season is still young, tell me the answer of how we can still win NOW.
Where'd you see no Decker? All Ive seen is he's probably another game time call. I think he'll suit up considering its his former team. But we'll win atleast 6 games this year.
At least? We'll be lucky to win four games with, the inept QB play we've gotten, Decker's health, poor secondary play, and Rex's addiction with sending heat despite the fact we have one of the most talented front fours in the NFL. Denver will demolish us tomorrow, and NE will beat us in a close one on Thursday. After that we, for the most part, we have divison games and we're bound to lose at least three of those games, if not five. The only realistic wins I see are Tennessee , Buffalo at home, and Miami at home.
I agree 1-6 looks like a big possibilty but after that you dont see Pittsburgh as winnable? They arent great. Neither is Minnesota but on the road will be tough. We arent as bad as we've played the last few weeks. The opposition is just better than us, flat out. We'll split with Buffalo and Miami as usual most likely. We might even win the home game against the Pats. Division games are always hard to predict. Even if we are 1-6 I still think we get to 6 wins.
Hopefully they win no games. I want maximum embarrassment for Idzik and Woody because they wasted our time. Winning one or two more games this season does not help us. Even if they somehow pull off a miracle against Denver and Geno has a great game, it is fools gold. Enough of sucking us into these meaningless seasons because of one or two hollow victories along the way. I'm done with that. Lose them all and start over.
And remember when this whole board flipped on me when I criticized the signing of Decker? this guy has been the useless no show that we saw in the Super Bowl, and its only year one, so its not going to get any better in the future.
hes been hurt… and when he's on the field and healthy we have, like, an offense or something. Not sure how you can call him a useless no-show, the hamstring shit only just started and couldn't be foreseen last spring. Show me a poor set of outings when he's good to go and THEN talk, but now? we're just unlucky.
