Giant fans are the reason I can't stand the Giants. All else being equal this would be an easy game to root for. If I wasn't living here in NJ right now I'd probably root for the Giants, but that is not possible. In terms of deserving--Giants were a 9-7 team this year, Patriots are 29-6 the past two seasons.

patriots fans deserve it less. giants fans have always been behind their team as long as i have been alive. the patriots on the other hand didint have a fanbase in the 80s and early 90s they had a half empty stadium that wouldnt even pass for a college stadium at this point and jets and giants games were often more than half jets and giants fans. these douchebags were steelers or niners or cowboys fans, they might as well have folded the team before kraft took them over. for these cock gobblers to now claim so fervently to be patriots fans makes me sick, none of them know who andre tippett was, or john stephens or mosi tatupu. their fanbase is a piece of shit and they deserve nothing.
again with the "luck". every team gets breaks and gets bit. the giants didn't get breaks in both packers game AND against the jets the obvious curley fumble, the questionable "tuck rule" and that horrible PI or illegal hands that extended a drive for the jets. EVERY team gets breaks and EVERY team has just as many things go against them. you don't get to where the Giants have gotten this year by luck. what's funny is you can say "it's all luck" in one sentence and then say that other fan bases are less knowledgeable. In NY/NJ you are usually born into a team (either Giants or jets)...so what would make someone of either fan base LESS knowledgeable? It makes NO sense whatesoever. It's all rhetoric.

All I ever hear on WFAN lately are Giants fans sticking to the Jets or Giants fans offering idiotic observations to justify an expected Giants victory. I never hear Jets fans calling in. For example, this afternoon, I heard a fan call in and remark that he thinks this is the first time two teams ever had a rematch so close in time, so somehow that pointed to a Giants victory. I guess he never heard of Steelers-Cowboys in the 70s, Bengals -Niners in the 80s and Cowboys-Bills in the 90s And if you want to know why both Giants & Pats fans are less knowledgeable, its because their ranks are swelled with bandwagon jumpers who know very little about the game and their team's history.
