Thankfully it seems Mangold only has a high ankle sprain but christ does anyone fancy seeing Hunter against Suggs....

Does he go trade or does he try to pick up a vet who is still out there as clearly Hunter is in danger of killing Sanchez. Two games in a row where he has taken far too many hits

Ducasse is not ready but we need to give this kid time in the pocket and with Hunter it won't happen

We know hunter is better than this.

I don't know if there is much to be done at this point that will be an actual improvement.

Lets hope you are right but I cannot see Tanny sitting still if this continues next week.

If Mangold is out for a few games I could see us signing O'Hara

Damn. I forgot he was out there. Perfect signing. Knowing Belichek, the Pats would sign him just to keep him away from us..

Just to hopefully shut the stupid people up before they start, Damien Woody is retired and very happy in his analyst job. also he is very out of football shape.

you should be ridiculed greatly if you suggest bringing him back.

For me we have to sign someone like Ohara . It may gall Tany to do its for 2+ milion but he gives us flexibility and vet depth

I'd prefer to stick with Baxter. Who who would you cut to make room?

Not too much that can be done to the Oline now within a reasonable price, the judgement call by tanny/rex/shotty was done pre-season. I think we will have to hope for Hunter to pull it together.
Another call that i am holding my verdict on is greene, but let us see week 4 and 5, when it matters.

I think Baxter played pretty well today actually, I don't want him to be released.

Obviously nobody can replace Mangold, but he did a solid job for a rookie in his first game. There's potential there.

It's funny, of all of the things I worried about with this team in the offseason, the O line wasn't one of them. I assumed, with three Pro Bowl caliber players, it would be a strength just like last year.

Only thing I didn't like about Baxter today was, rookie mistakes aside, was his lack of the ability to anchor by the goal line. He got pushed back and bowled over, which is a flaw in his overall game rather than an easily fixable mistake.

That's why franchise Centers like Mangold are so hard to find, he has no flaws in his game...

Baxter was fine with no preparation. They also have Schlauderaff who I think can play center. I don't think they will do anything right away.
